Size: 140 × 100 cm
Through fragmented lines and broken arms, the drawing expresses the tension between past and present: between an authentic Berlin, born of diversity and community, and a Berlin reshaped by economic pressure, companies, and speculative housing markets that push people out. It also speaks to subtle discrimination, where identity or background can decide who is allowed to live in a neighborhood and who is excluded.
“Soul of Berlin” is more than a portrait; it is a visual statement. The city breathes through its people, and when its arms are fractured, the entire community suffers.
